It is highly favored in high-altitude work scenarios in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, and electricity. ​

    Product Structure and Materials

    The hooked steel pedal is mainly made of Q235 low carbon steel and continues the main structure of the steel springboard's hollow plate shape. The surface is pressed with diamond or strip anti slip patterns to ensure the friction force of construction personnel when walking. The core improvement lies in the integrated hook design at both ends, which is made of the same material steel stamping and bending, and is firmly connected to the pedal body through welding. The inner side of the hook usually has anti slip teeth, which can tightly bite the horizontal or vertical bars of the scaffold, preventing the pedal from sliding or falling off when under force. Some high-end products will also add reinforcing ribs at the connection between the hook and the pedal to further enhance the structural strength. ​

    Product Features

    Efficient installation and stable connection: The hook design eliminates the need for additional binding or bolt fixing steps in traditional steel springboards. During construction, simply align the hook with the scaffold crossbar and press down to complete the installation. It can be easily completed by a single person, greatly reducing the setup time. At the same time, the mechanical interlocking structure of the hook and scaffold can resist horizontal impact forces and maintain stability even in strong winds or vibration environments, reducing safety hazards. ​

    High reuse rate: The hook and pedal are an integral structure with no vulnerable connecting parts, which is not easily deformed or damaged during multiple disassembly and assembly processes. Compared to the traditional steel springboard, which is prone to wear and tear on the binding straps and loss of bolts, the service life of hooked steel pedals can be extended by more than 30%, and the long-term use cost is lower. ​

    Excellent load-bearing performance: The main body is made of high-quality steel, combined with a reasonable cross-sectional design. A single 2-meter-long hooked steel pedal can carry a concentrated load of over 800 kilograms, meeting the stacking needs of construction personnel, tools, and small and medium-sized materials. The hook part has been mechanically optimized to evenly distribute the load and avoid fracture caused by excessive local stress. ​

    Security protection upgrade: In addition to surface anti slip patterns, some products have added 10-15cm high toe boards on both sides of the pedal to prevent tools or small materials from falling from the edges. The tight fit between the hook and the scaffold reduces the gap between the pedals and avoids the risk of feet getting stuck during construction. ​

    Strong weather resistance: The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing, with a zinc layer thickness of over 85 μ m, which can effectively resist the erosion of rainwater, seawater, and industrial dust. In damp construction sites or seaside ship construction sites, it can maintain no obvious rust for more than 5 years, far superior to ordinary painted steel pedals.
